I'm typing this just after reading about the tragic news of one of my favorite childhood wrestling heros, the Macho Man, passing away in a car accident. It's tough to type now mainly because while I'm just a fan of his like any other, it's tough not to look at the bigger picture. I lost my Grandfather to a heart attack late last year, it was sudden, and not expected. I can't imagine how his family must feel other than what I felt when I lost my Grandfather. How can you prepare for this? Regarding, Savage, I can picture him and his wife just talking about their day, not thinking that all of a sudden his life would come to an end. It's horrible, and my prayers are certainly with the entire Poffo family. I can't even begin to image how they feel when it comes down to it, but either way, wrestling lost a true legend, and an icon. A certain Hall of Famer, and one of the most entertaining people on the planet. Rest in Peace Macho Man. Oooooooh Yeaaaaaahhhhh!!!
Just a few of my favorite Macho Man memories;
1.) Winning the title at WM8- About the 1 minute mark.
2.) Wedding with Liz
3.) Against Steamboat at WM3
4.) Winning the title against the Million Dollar Man at WM4
